Brotherhood

God has made us family
hearts bound by love and grace
hands held tight by brotherhood
Side by side and face to face.

We are working pilgrims
in a land that’s not our own
we share each others burdens
and we never walk alone!

For He is our great Fortress
He watches through the night
He allows us run before Him
stumbling in our foolish flight!

But then his righteous arm upholds us
He gives us His holy light
He walks us through the valley
in the middle of our night!

He loves us through our journey
even as we turn from Him
He helps us in our unbelief
to trust in Him again!

He leads us by His Spirit
who speaks to Him in prayer
We never have to walk alone
He is Present everywhere!

He does not force us to believe
His freedom lets us walk away
But in wisdom we turn back to Him
while it is still Today!

For our future is in His hands
He will determine eternity
We need only reach out to Him
And the Promise Land we’ll see!
